Puck Shares A Thing! (Janel Norris)

The posts are connecting! This weeks post is about something I wore in the Event Post from last week.

Last week as part of my outfit I wore this in my hair. I also mentioned I wore it for my wedding. I feel like it's deserving of a post.

Here's a shot of the hair piece in my hair on my wedding day. This was taken shortly after the ceremony and yes I am making a silly face.

The hair piece (along with the necklace I wore that you can't really see.) Was made by Artist Janel Norris. I met her and her husband Matt, a photographer I ended up hiring for the ceremony, at a fairy festival one of my friends helped organize. She had a booth set up and I fell in love with the jewelery immediately. If you're interested in seeing her work or buying some of her things, here is her site with the links to all her things. For the record she doesn't know I wrote this and I'm not pimping her stuff for any reason other than I think it's beautiful. (I just realized when writing this, I never even added her on Facebook.)

(My husband and I.)

Next week I'll connect to this post by talking about my wedding. (*Edit* I ended up not doing wedding posts. I do plan on doing them eventually. My one year anniversary is coming up, maybe I'll do it then.) It wasn't especially goth but I did try and fit some darkness where I could.

Seeya next time!

Event Post: Resurrection 9th Anniversary Masquerade Ball!

Nine years. It's pretty crazy. I've been going to Rez for like five, maybe six years? It's the club I frequent the most. It's close, cheap, and I know a lot of people that go there. My husband and brother-in-law have both DJ'd there as well. I've been to a couple of these Masquerade Balls though I've never been very impressed with my own outfits. This year I think I've done a bit better.

So this is the basics of the outfit. I haven't picked all the accessories as of writing this post, nor is my hair or make-up done but here it is! The dress is actually the one I wore for my Senior Prom. It's pretty amazing it still fits seeing as I graduated like eight years ago.

I've decided to change the dress up a bit by putting my medieval style bodice thing over the dress. I think it looks neat. It certainly makes the boobs look good. The mask was bought from a store in Minnesota when I was out there visiting family. I can't remember the name of the store but I did technically got it for free as part of a buy one get one free thing. Not seen in the picture, my cat attacking the shit out of my feet.

Here's the outfit on my dress form. Though the pic's a touch blurry. Whoops.

Another view of the mask and such.

Close up of the hair accessory I'm planning on wearing. I originally bough and wore it for my wedding. I plan on posting about the artist who made it in the future.

Well seeya next time!

Puck Shares a Thing! (Pinterest)

This is going to be a lazy, lazy post. This week I'm sharing my Pinterest! I'm just going to pick out a couple of boards I enjoy looking at and daydreaming about. Not all of these boards have to do with goth things but oh wells. I actually started a board dedicated to the blog but I haven't posted anything in it haha.

So here's the main page I wanted to share.

Feel free to follow me and meyhaps I'll follow back! (sorry for the lame short boring post haha.)

Seeya soon! I'll be going to Rez's 9th Anniversary so there will definitely be an event post. Byyyeeee!
