Event Post: Haven Industrial Pajama Party!

Event time! This event is a PJ party down in North Hampton's own Haven! (event is here) It will be only the second time I've been to Haven. I'm going this time because my dear Brother-in-law will be spinning for the first hour. Yay Sawtooth!

Being the good Bat-fan that I am, I of course will be wearing my Batman Onesie a very good friend bought for me a few years ago.
I also have my utility belt and a back-up underneath outfit in case I get too toasty.

No PJ party outfit is complete without slippers!

And I'm got my Robin The Bear Wonder!

Bonus pix of my cat posing with Robin.

See you there!

Puck Shares a Thing! Cemetery Confessions!

Hey guys! I'm super excited today! Why's that? My blog got shared on a podcast I listen to! I was going to talk about this blog anyway but they read a letter I wrote them and they talked about this! EEeeeeeeeeeeee! What was the podcast? Cemetery Confessions. I stumbled onto this podcast testing out a theory I have that there is a podcast out there for nearly every subject. I started searching keywords of things I'm into and eventually I got to 'goth' and this show came up!

The show as of now post once a month, with occasional bonus episodes in between to tide you over. It's divided up into nice segments over the span of a few hours. I can be hard to listen to the whole thing but it's usually worth it. They talk about goth related news, philosophical issues, the club scene, reviews and recommendations. It's nice listening to goth types from different walks of life. You get to kind of see what translates and what doesn't and how similar goths can be no matter where they are from.

The hosts overall try to respect other peoples points of view and on more than one occasion have been more than willing to admit they are wrong or don't know enough about a topic. I like that. I've met some goths who pretend to know things to gain 'goth points' or something which can be super annoying.

I highly reccomend you give it a listen if you are a fan of discussion based podcasts and are into the goth scene. They aren't professionals but you can feel their passion miles away. At least I can.

All the links!!!! The website was linked in the first paragraph, Their Facebook page is here, ItunesYoutube, and finally their Patreon page. Sadly since I am an unemployed student I can't support them, I can use my blog for good though! Also of course you can find them on Stitcher like I did! If you want to listen to the episode where my letter was read, it is episode 16: Subcultural Ideals.

Byeeeee!
